If you’re a teacher, or a parent interested in teaching animation to their kids, we have something special for you.
A brand new course – Teaching Animation.
So many educators already use our courses and free content in their classes, so we thought – why not build something just for them from the ground-up?
So we did.
We’ve designed this course specifically for teachers and parents interested in teaching animation to children, or even using animation to teach any other subject.
Animation isn’t easy, but we did our best to collect all the information you need to be able to convey the basic principles of animation to students, and even help them build an entire animated project from start to finish using different animation methods.
We divided this course into 2 sections:
The first section is aimed at teaching animation to children under the age of 11. It uses stop-motion as the main method for animation and includes printable cutout characters and claymation instructions, as well as a ton of fun animation activities.
This is a perfect way to introduce your young ones to the world of animation, as well as making any other subject (like math or history) come to life.
The second section is aimed at older kids (and even adults), and covers the basic principles of animation, as well as more advanced animation methods such as hand-drawn and digital puppet animation using Animate CC, Autodesk Sketchbook and stop-motion. It includes assignments and final projects, and is aimed at teaching animation on a much more in-depth way.
You don’t need to know a thing about animation.
You don’t need to have any previous knowledge on animation. We’ll teach you everything you need to know. All lessons are downloadable and printable. All assignments come with exercise files or printable materials included.
We know teachers and parents are super busy, so we did all the heavy lifting so you can focus on taking the information and passing it on.
The course comes out on June 4th, and will launch for a discounted price of $97 for the first 3 days. After that, the price will increase to $147.
