Animation Foundations Is Now Available – Get It for Free This Week Only

We have finally launched our long-awaited course Animation Foundations, and you can get it for free (this week only) with the purchase of any of our other animation courses.

So what is this course about?

Animation Foundations is your first step into the world of animation. This is one of the most thorough courses we’ve ever created, and if you never animated before (or need to be reminded of the core principles of animation) this is the best place to start.

Start with the basics

We’ll start off by covering our bases, going through all the different types of animation, as well as learn the vocabulary to make sure we’re all on the same page. After understanding the basics, we’ll dig deep into the famous 12 Principles of Animation, established by old time Disney animators. covering each one in detail. We’ll use fun examples to illustrate each principle in action.

Animating a shot

After we understand the theory of the basic principles, we’ll dive into animating a whole scene from start to finish, learning all the skills necessary on the way, including how to shoot a reference video, how to plan a shot, and how to animate in passes. We’ll see when to use walk cycles, as well as how to carefully animate certain actions frame by frame. We’ll go over cameras, and how to use them in our shots, and even cover some lip-syncing techniques.

Free with any software course

This course goes best with one of our software animation courses, and that’s why we decided to give it away for free with the purchase of any of our software-focused animation courses.

This special offer, however, will end on October 25th, so make sure to take advantage of it. After the launch week ends the course will be at full price and will never be discounted again.

There was never a better place to start your animation career, so what are you waiting for?
